Head Coach- William Peay
Hello Centurion fans, my name is William Peay, I am the head men’s basketball coach here at Carolina Christian College. I’m in my second year at the school and just finished my first year as the head coach. I’m originally from Clemmons, North Carolina a little small town on the outside of Winston-Salem. Before coaching I played collegiately at Winston-Salem State University where I was on the 2012 CIAA championship team. From there I had a few stints overseas with professional basketball. After my playing career I received my first coaching job as an assistant for Forsyth Home educators girls basketball team where we finished as runners up in the state championship game, from there I coached at Piedmont classical high school where we finished as state champs. The competitiveness along with the love teaching others the game of basketball is a new found passion of mine. A Centurion is a warrior who fights for wins and never gives up and that’s what I look to instill in each player I get a chance to coach. I look forward to making history and bringing a winning tradition here at Carolina Christian College.
