CCC football program now enrolling student athletes

Carolina Christian College is making the first steps toward creating a collegiate football team. We are now taking applications for 2023 with the first full season to begin Fall 2024. All interested parties should contact our head football coach James Littlejohn 336-283-7299 ext 1

Coach James Littlejohn- Head Coach

James Littlejohn has coached football for 16 years. Coach Littlejohn started his coaching career on the HS level at Lexington Sr. High School, 2002 & 2003. He served as the Head Coach for the High Point Ravens minor league football team from 2007-2013, then he worked his way up to the junior college level in 2016 & 2018. Coach Littlejohn held the positions of Defensive Coordinator, 2021 and Offensive Coordinator, 2022 & 2023 for the Carolina Phoenix women’s tackle football team, members of the WFA (Women’s Football Alliance).

Now has the first Head Football Coach for Carolina Christian College, Coach Littlejohn looks to bring some quality experience and looks to build the culture and set the standard for Centurions Football.

“I am very humbled to be in this position as Head Football Coach at Carolina Christian College,” said Coach Littlejohn. “I truly thank God for this opportunity to be named the 1st head football coach in the history of Carolina Christian College. My staff and I are committed to building a winning program and helping the players be successful on and off the field. I love to win, we all do, but having this opportunity is not something I take lightly. So, Come Make History with Us.”

Coach Littlejohn is a native of Lexington, NC, but currently resides in Winston-Salem with his wife, Cassandra, and is a proud father of 6 amazing children.  He is also a board member of Lexington Live Community Theatre in Lexington, NC.

Undergraduate Level Requirements

 

  • High school transcript or a high school diploma or its equivalent is required.  A minimum of a 2.0 GPA is required. (Students that fail to meet the minimum requirement can petition the admissions committee for provisional acceptance) 
  • Official college transcripts. (Transfer students only)
  • Submit Application Form with 2 Letters of Reference. (One from your pastor or spiritual leader. One from the community)
  • Make payment of the nonrefundable $50 Application Fee.
  • Arrange to have official transcript (s) sent directly to CCC in sealed envelopes from all institutions previously attended. Complete a pre-assessment.
