CCC Hires New Women’s Soccer Coach

Meet our new Coach Kendal Leak

Born and raised in Winston-Salem, I began playing soccer at an early age, quickly demonstrating natural talent and leadership qualities. My commitment to excellence led me to pursue coaching certifications and educational opportunities to deepen my understanding of the sport.
After completing college degree at Methodist University, I embarked on a journey to share my knowledge and passion for soccer with others. I started coaching youth teams in Fayetteville NC, where the ability to inspire and motivate players quickly gained recognition.
In 2021 I seized an incredible opportunity to take my coaching career to the next level by accepting the prestigious role of Head Coach at Parkland High School. The selection process was rigorous, but I impressed the selection committee with their innovative coaching methods, dedication to player development, and unwavering commitment to the values of teamwork and sportsmanship.
Now, as the head coach of Carolina Christian College, I am poised to lead the team to new heights of success on and off the field. With a focus on fostering a positive and inclusive environment and determined to empower their players to reach their full potential and achieve greatness both as athletes and individuals.
Off the field, I remain deeply involved in the soccer community, by working at churches with soccer camps, helping out fellow coaches in training and continuing to gain the experience to be a better coach. I will continue to inspire the next generation of soccer stars with my passion, knowledge, and unwavering dedication to the beautiful game.

Athlete of the Month

Hi my name is Jazmin Soriano- Menjivar, i am 18 years old. My position is center back and my love for this sport all started when I started to play at NC Rush Triad Soccer Club.

Jazmin is one of our premier student athletes that plays on our Lady Centurion soccer team. She is one of the founding member of our soccer program and a defensive powerhouse. Gentle and meek off the field, but when it’s game time, she goes straight into beast mode. With over 9 blocks for the season Jazmine has shut down the center of the field. She is also one of our academically gifted students, and we see a bright future for her and her career.
